Recently awarded the prestigious award for Best Accommodation Hotel in Sydney at The Sydney Business awards 2008; the Vulcan Hotel is where contemporary style meets heritage architecture.

Our boutique property consists of 46 brand new ensuite rooms with all the services you would expect. All rooms have double-glazed, soundproofed windows. In mid 2006, a new wing was built and this added an extra 16 rooms, a brand new cafe, reception and courtyard.

While staying at our hotel, take advantage of our central location and be sure to visit Sydney's iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Air-conditioning erratic, no facility to turn the thing off and have enough blankets/duvet to keep warm enough.

The location is fit for me to visit the China Town & the exhibition hall with a reasonable price.

Couldn't find a nice restaurant very near to the hotel

Die Lage ist, je nach dem was man sehen will, perfect. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel oder Paddy's Market, Darling Harbour zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Good location for visiting Darling Harbour or Paddy's Market. Public Transportation in just a short walk away.

Leider gibt es keine Raucherzimmer :-( Dafür im geschütztem Hof eine Sitz- Trink- und Rauchgelegenheit. No smoking rooms; there is a smoking area in the courtyard where you can sit and have a drink.
