Head Hospes Amérigo’s top floor to enjoy a session in the sauna or heated swimming pool. Then, dry off in the warm Mediterranean sunshine out on the sun loungers of the rooftop terrace. From here you can enjoy views over the surrounding historic city centre, including the cathedral and castle.

Room information

All rooms have been decorated using a warm and cosy palette of neutral colours and simple textures. Cream-coloured armchairs sit comfortably on pale hand-woven carpets and a touch of unobtrusive, bourgeois decorative elements would have likely pleased the mid-19th century residents of the Amerigo too.

The numbers of facilities and the quality of them. In spite of a very high standard we liked the informal but still very polite atmosphere at the hotel.

A beautiful hotel - a credit to the designing architect! Superb tapas bar - excellent service. Good lifts. Quiet and working air conditioning in room. Super breakfast - everything you could want and available until 10.30am. Nearby several restaurants/bars and close to harbour/seafront.

no light over shower/bath ( a minor quibble!)

The friendly service began as soon as we arrived. We were given a welcome drink as we checked in. Every request was handled professionally and efficiently and always with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is excellent! The toiletires provided are lovely and there are extras such as lip bam, deodorant,sewing kit,,, the restaurants offer a good selection of foods.
