Designed by 18 different world-renowned architects such as Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel, Zaha Hadid and Arata Isozaki, this luxury hotel is a unique, contemporary space with a privileged location.
The hotel is situated in the city centre close to excellent transport links, with easy access to all the main areas of Madrid, including the Museo Del Prado, the exclusive stores of Serrano Street and the fairground. The hotel is also only 5 minutes from Paseo de La Castellana, Madrid’s commercial and business centre, and 10 minutes from the airport and the congress centre.
Enjoy the pergola which extends from the terrace to an open garden, the perfect space for relaxing amongst nature during the day or with a glass of wine in the evening. With wireless internet access throughout the building, this hotel is ideal for those looking to stay amid style, exclusivity, technology and the best in architectural design.
Each floor of the hotel has been designed by a group of 18 international architects: Jean Nouvel, Javier Mariscal, Arata Isozaki, Richard Gluckman, Mar Newson, Norman Foster and others. Their project is a tribute to the world of architecture, design and freedom.
Enjoy the landscape garden founded by Harriet Bourne and Jonathan Bell, who designed an annexe park and a pergola in the garden terrace.
The pergola is extended from the terrace to an open garden, forming a shaded walk which protects the flowers from the summer sun. The pergola boasts great architectural features, plants and attractive pillars. Enjoy this space and relax amongst nature during the day or in the evening with a glass of wine.
The hotel’s Lagrimas Negras restaurant was styled by the French designer Christian Liaigre and is run by the well-known chef José Luis Estevan. The cuisine is based on traditional Spanish dishes with an original, creative and stylish twist. The restaurant also offers an extensive list of over 750 wines, recommended by the wine steward Juan Antonio Herrero, who in 2006 was awarded with best Sommelier in Spain at Madrid Fusion, an international summit of gastronomy.
Designed by the famous French architect Jean Nouvel, the Sky Night Bar is located on the top floor of the hotel and is the ideal spot for enjoying a drink whilst admiring stunning panoramic views over Madrid. On Fridays and Saturdays you can enjoy listening to live jazz music.
There is also the Marmo Bar which is located on the ground floor, featuring the Carrara marble bar created by celebrated furniture designer Mark Newson.
The hotel contracted 18 of the most renowned architects and designers, from 13 different nationalities to design rooms across the hotel's 12 floors. The top floor is the VIP floor where you can find 12 exclusive suites designed by the famous French architect Jean Nouvel, incorporating the best equipment and the most exclusive 5-star service.
The originality, luxury and innovation of the rooms are evident throughout and each floor features a different design concept. Upon arrival you will be shown pictures of the rooms, so you can choose which room you would prefer to stay in, availability permitting.
The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre close to the Metro and bus station, with easy access to all the areas and zones of Madrid including the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen museums, the city’s most exclusive designer boutiques along Serrano Street and the fairground. The hotel enjoys a privileged location only 5 minutes from Paseo de La Castellana, Madrid’s commercial and business centre, and 10 minutes from Madrid Barajas airport and IFEMA, Madrid’s congress centre.

The rooms were fantastic, particularly the bathroom. We liked the opportunity to be able to choose the rooms on arrival. The staff were very friendly on the whole.

It is a nice looking hotel, though not as nice as the website portrays, attention to detail not great.
Don't go to this hotel unless you speak fluent spanish, it was my wife's birthday and they completely messed up on arranging breakfast in bed, what made me even more furious is the fact that they didn't even attempt to make amends for their incompetence. In addition the maid service barging into your room at 8.30am each morning, one knock and in they come....Nice hotel, poorly trained staff.

The restaurant, the bar and the staff.
The spa is a disgrace. They advertise that there is a spa and available
beauty treatments. There is not one beauty treatment available. I would
describe the hotel's spa as a room with a tiny swimming pool and a steam
room. This is hardly a spa.

The different design of the floors. The rooms are very impressive, unique and unusual.
Breakfast was not included in the rate and it was very expensive.

the hotel desighn is amasing.. The room are made to impres but not really to be functionable.. The Silence is an unknow word there and i really didn't manage to have a quite sleep at any time.. Also the concept of having a free acesse WC within the room also was not a strong point.. I was alone so problem, but if i was with my girlfriend would not really like her to me there..
Also to have to pay the Wifi at a 5 star hotel made a very negative imapct to me.. We are businnesmen we are supposed to used that.. I have to give them credit 4 all the food and dring services.
